Privacy

A lighter footprint.

The public portfolio works without an account.

Your visit

This site does not use advertising or visitor tracking cookies. Fonts and icons are served with the site. SCOT answers on your device; typed questions are not sent to a server or saved. Do not enter credentials or sensitive information into SCOT.

Messages and aggregate analytics

The contact form stores your name, email, subject, and message in Denver’s private inbox for up to 90 days. Only the owner can read messages. Contact Denver by email if you want a message removed sooner.

We count page views and selected actions by day and page for up to 90 days. These are aggregate counts, not unique visitor profiles. We do not store query strings, precise location, or full browsing histories. Analytics honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

To limit abuse, the server uses a short-lived keyed hash of the request address. Raw addresses are not stored in the application database. These hashes expire hourly and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Analytics failures do not block the portfolio.

Owner access

The private hub uses Cloudflare Access when deployed. Its authentication cookies and identity processing are separate from public browsing. Local development sessions stay on this computer.

Email and external links

Email links open your email application. Messages you choose to send are handled by your email provider and Denver’s inbox. GitHub links take you to GitHub, which applies its own privacy policy.

A hosting provider may process request logs. Hosting-specific details will be added when the site is deployed.
